Great News! Ryde-Eastwood Chess Club Resuming OTB Play!


Dear Members,


Chess will be resuming at Ryde Eastwood on Wednesday 24th February.
At this time there will only be social games.

We will be situated in the Sports Bar downstairs and numbers are limited to a total of 30 people.

Also we will be instituting COVID-safe practices. For details please refer to the document, RELC CC COVID Safety Plan (see here).

hello, I am a beginner/intermediate with a ~950-1000 rating on chess.com and am interested in otb social chess
I was wondering if this is more suited to experts as opposed to beginners like me? Also if this is every wednesday and if any registration/payment is required to play?

Ryde-Eastwood Chess Club is for all grades of players. Members ranged from 1300-2300. Members are friendly and are willing to help and play friendly games. It is on every Wednesday subject to COVID-19 rules. You have to be over 18 and a member of the Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club (fees are payable) as well as a member of the Ryde-Eastwood Chess Club (fees are payable).
