Welcome to 2009 and the Year of the Ox
Yesterday, Ryde Eastwood Chess Club had its annual AGM and elected its office bearers for 2009.

The Chess Club meets every Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm at the Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club (117 Ryedale Road West Ryde NSW).
The tournament calendar for 2009 has also been prepared and I will post once I have the electronic copy.
There will be a Rapid tournament beginning next Wed (4th Feb 2009) for three weeks with three rounds per evening.
In order to play, you will have to register for the new year. The costs is $15 for club fees ($10 for juniors, seniors and pensioners) and $10 for non-NSWCA members rating fees (you don't have to pay if you are already member of NSWCA for 2009).
You will also be required to become a member of the Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club (must be over 18 years of age).
1 year = $11
5 years = $44
Life membership = $110
