Programme for August and September

Dear Members,

There is a slight change to our calendar, our Lightning Competition will not start tomorrow it will start on Wednesday 16^th August, with the final rounds being played on the following Wednesday 23^rd August, tomorrow, Wednesday 9^thAugust we will have casual games. If you would like to compete in the Lightning Competition you must let me know before 6.00pm on Tuesday 15^th August.

On Wednesday 30^th August we have Australia’s greatest Grand Master Mr Ian Rogers giving us a lecture on chess, the lecture will start at 7.30pm and finish at 10.30pm, during the lecture we provide some finger food for the Members, there will be no chess played during the lecture.

On Wednesday 6^th, 13^th and 20^th September we will have the Bobby Fischer Cup Tournament.
